Welcome to the 2019 Fiber Flux Fall Crochet Along...hooray! Today marks week one of the CAL and we'll be learning about the beautiful project we'll be making...the Autumn Farmhouse Throw! This project is perfect for the fall and winter seasons, as the chilly weather sets in! We will be going over a few things today to begin:
- Introduction to the project
- Supplies
- Schedule of the CAL
- Blanket sizing overview
- Where to connect with other makers
The CAL will be divided over the next few weeks, so we'll tackle each part bit by bit. Scroll down for the schedule with actual dates and what we'll be doing on each day/week.
*This is a self-paced project, so definitely go at the speed you feel most comfortable. The instructional videos and posts will be up forever and you will always be able to go back and watch again and again!

First things first...the supplies!
Materials Needed:
- 6.5 mm "K" crochet hook
- 8 Skeins Red Heart With Love-I used 2 skeins of "Mallard" 2 skeins of "Aran" 2 skeins of "Sage" 2 skeins of "Tan"
- Tapestry Needle
- Scissors
- Tape Measure
Let's move on to sizing...the blanket as pictured measures approximately 50 inches wide and 72 inches long, a great size for a personal throw blanket and a lovely addition to toss over a sofa to give it an autumnal touch. However, check out the sizing chart below to get an idea of some standard blanket sizes if you wish to change the dimensions a bit. Next week we'll talk about how to customize the size of your blanket!
