Welcome to the 2020 Fiber Flux Spring Crochet Along...yippee! Today marks week one of the CAL and we'll be learning about the beautiful project we'll be making...the Comforts of Home Wrap! This very easy and gorgeous little project is an asymmetrical wrap that can be worn lots of different ways and is a one cake project! This is designed to be a 100% stress free, feel good crochet project. This is also a quick and easy gift to make too! We will be going over a few things today to begin:
- Introduction to the project
- Supplies
- Sizing of the project
- Schedule of the CAL
- Where to connect with other makers
The CAL will be divided over the next few weeks, so we'll tackle each part bit by bit. Scroll down for the schedule with actual dates and what we'll be doing on each day/week.
*This is a self-paced project, so definitely go at the speed you feel most comfortable. The instructional videos and posts will be up forever and you will always be able to go back and watch again and again!
Here is a quick video introduction to the CAL and more information about supplies too:
First things first...the supplies!

it would be helpful if the Stitch that will be used is posted. I'd like to have this information before I buy the yarn and decide on this project. Is there some way to get that information. Is it posted somewhere and I'm missing it? Thank you so much
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for my first yarn order in several years that didn't already have a purpose (other than being pretty). And then this CAL popped up in my Youtube subscriptions feed. A match made in heaven! I am looking forward to joining my first CAL. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteToday is July 21. I am looking for the part 2 with the pattern, but am not finding it yet. Can you help me get there???

ReplyDeleteHi! I found this gorgeous project while looking for something to make with some gifted yarn I got given, but I can't seem to find the actual pattern anywhere! Any chance you can help me find where to get the instructions?
ReplyDeleteIs there a pattern for this project?
