Materials:
- 5.0 mm H crochet hook
- 230 yards of DK weight yarn (I used the DK weight of the “Chocolate Dipped Strawberry” colorway of City Girl Country Yarns)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Tape measure
Finished Sizing:
- 43 inches across the top edge of triangle
- 26 inches down the side of the triangle
- 16.5 inches from bottom point straight up
Instructions:
(Multiple of 4 + 2)
Ch 10
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next ch, *(1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in next ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 2 ch, repeat from * 1 dc in the last ch.
Row 2: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * across in each ch 3 space, then work (3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) into the turning chain space.
Repeat row 2 until you get the dimensions above or the piece is as big as you like. To make it both wider and taller, simply work more rows of the pattern.
Weave in any ends that remain and it’s ready to wear!
